February’s Best Sellers

Praise Jesus! We survived February! As I’m typing this, it’s currently 8:21 pm and the sun has started to set but it is not pitch black out yet. Yay for more daylight! Yay for longer days! Yay for the onset of spring! I’m a little late in getting this post up but we are past Spring Break. We are already back in school and have started the final quarter of the school year. It is home stretch now, baby.

As far as February is concerned, our family took a much needed trip to Arizona. I finally got out of Alaska for more than three days and let me tell you: it was everything. My kids loved the warmth and the cacti. I loved the change of scenery and slow pace of life. I even got to meet up with Phoenix-based bloggers, Alexis and Trish, from @something.sisterly and they are as beautiful on the inside as they are on the out!

But the best part of February came when we were in Phoenix. Y’all, I became a Gigi. My oldest stepdaughter had her first son and Brant and I are besides ourselves. We are in love. Just when you thought you couldn’t love in a new way, grandchildren come into you life and it’s game over. It feels weird being 41 going on 42 and having the role as grandma; especially when no one in my friend/age group has this title. But I’m embracing it. That little man is amazing.
