Skin Care: Beauty Counter

I promise I’m not a rep!

Despite the urges of my lovely BC rep, I am not a consultant with Beauty Counter. I am just a consumer who has been using their products and has seen first hand how their products have changed my skin for the better. I didn’t even realize how bad my skin was until my husband took a video of me sleeping after Easter dinner this year.

Between this video and the new extremely bright light bulbs that were installed in my bathroom where I do my make up daily, I was determined at 40 years old to wash my face before bed every night. I know. It’s fine. You can judge me. I used to not wash my face at night. I’d go to bed with the day’s make up on my face. Yes, I said it (but I also said that I used to so that judgement can stop now). But in just two short weeks, check out the difference of my face from just washing it at night (as well as in the morning).

Dang, right? I made a reel on Instagram going over the steps I do every night because I couldn’t believe the improvement on my skin in such a short amount of time. In case it goes too fast, here are the steps I do and products I use broken down for you.

Step 1: I now use make-up wipes that I purchase in bulk from Costco before I wash my face- something I didn’t do on the reel above. And let me tell you, it makes all the difference in getting the day’s make up off my face. Once I’ve run one of the wipes over my face and eyes, I wash my face with Beauty Counter’s Countermatch Refresh Foaming Cleanser ($32).

Step 2: Countermatch Hydra-Gel Radiance Toner ($45)

Step 3: In the morning, I use Countermatch Intense Moisture Serum ($49) and at night, I use Countertime Tripeptide Radiance Serum ($79).

Step 4: Countermatch Adaptive Moisture Lotion ($49)

Step 5: In the morning I use Countermatch Eye Rescue Cream ($39) and at night, I use Countertime Ultra Renewal Eye Cream ($69).

Hot damn! After seeing the prices on all of these items, I see why my Beauty Counter rep urges me to become a consultant myself. Listen, I know these products are pricey but they work for me. I can’t promise that you, too, will have the same results but if you are looking for a new regimen, I cannot recommend mine enough. I linked all of the products here for you to access/purchase easily. If it is too expensive for you right now or all just seems overwhelming, start with one of these products first and give it a shot (I recommend by starting with the cleanser and/or moisturizer). Better yet, hit up my rep on Instagram, tell her you found her through Far North Fashion and ask her to send you some samples. She will because she, just like the products she sells, is that good.
