Weekly Outfit Recap: No Rest for the Weary

I arrived back in Anchorage early Sunday morning, and although Monday was President’s Day (no school, but plenty of adulting—laundry, grocery shopping, running errands), the week kept me on my toes. Here’s a rundown of my outfits from a week that was as busy as it was stylish.

Sunday:

Brant and I double dated at Hearth with my bestie Danika at one of our favorite pizza spots in Anchorage. I aimed for a look that was cute yet comfortable—complete with pants that had a little extra room because, let’s be honest, I have zero self control at Hearth.

Monday:

No outfit pic here—just a day of adulting and catching up on errands. Sometimes, practicality takes center stage.

Tuesday:

After work, I drove across town to run an All City Choir rehearsal from 6 to 8:30. It was a long day, so I opted for my new H&M denim pullover and rocked a full-on Canadian Tuxedo. And yes, I even brought my orthotic slippers to Tuesday night’s rehearsal for that extra bit of comfort.

Wednesday:

I decided to give myself a break and went with a relaxed vibe. I paired my high-top platform Converse with the stretchiest, comfiest pants and an oversized cardigan—an effortless midweek breather.

Thursday:

Thursday was all about making a statement with my footwear. I wore leopard print clogs from Amazon because my love for leopard print runs DEEP. Every detail counts.

Friday:

Spirit Day at school meant I had to bring extra energy to my look. I paired my choir’s sweatshirt with our favorite cuffed American Eagle jeans. To achieve that cropped look, I ordered them in a 14 short instead of my usual regular length. These jeans have become an instant favorite.

Saturday:

The vibe on Saturday was all about momfit. It was a whirlwind day—running concessions at my middle school’s wrestling tournament and then spending over four hours at a dealership to get a new car (yay me!). I dressed in layers, chose comfy jeans, and relied on my trusty Adidas Sambas to keep me stylish and comfortable throughout the hustle.

Saturday’s Outfit

Every day presented its own challenges, but I made sure to blend comfort with style—even on the busiest days. With a mix of practical pieces and a few standout items, I managed to navigate a hectic week while staying true to my aesthetic. Until next time, keep embracing your unique style and taking on the day with confidence.
